How is your Soul Portrait created?
Working from just a photo, images come forth to Linda with ease. Using her keen intuition and empathic gifts, she senses the path around you as she paints a message from your soul. What wonderful message does your soul wish for you to accept about yourself? These make perfect gifts for that hard to buy for person, too.
Soul Portrait choices: Sketch, Drawing, Full Color Paintings
You can commission Linda to create an original full color painting, detailed black and white drawing, or sketch as a gift to yourself, spouse, parent or child to be treasured for years to come. A vision of your highest Self may come through using your eyes or part of your face. Often the Soul Portrait may also be more symbolic such as a visual metaphor sent through Linda.

Full Color Detailed Paintings
You may choose watercolor on paper (image 9″) or a mixed media painting on gallery-wrapped canvas (9″ x 9″ x 2 5/8″). The canvas will stand on a surface or hang on a wall and there is not need to frame the soul portrait on canvas. The sides are painted and often convey imagery adding to your message.

Options can be discussed or leave it up to the artist to render it in the way that she feels would work best. Often more shows up when going from black and white to color. The more time she spends on each piece, the more she feels come through.
Black & White Drawing
Black & white drawings are detailed 9″ x 9″ drawings that may either be more refined drawings on white paper, or may be created on toned paper and white added to the piece for more depth. These black and white drawings may be upgraded to a full color painting on gallery-wrapped canvas for an even clearer glimpse into your highest self.

Sketch
Sketch : A 9″ x 9″ sketch is a rough graphite rendering that includes Linda’s notes of the words that come across while creating your portrait. You can always commission the artist first for a sketch and then upgrade if you wish. Sketches are also always done first for black and white drawings and paintings as part of their process. F.A.Q.
Q: How long have you been channeling?
A: Linda says, “Looking back, I’ve always been able to channel. Think about Mozart.. there is a new child prodigy at Julliard School of Music right now. He says he channels the music. How does this happen? We can all be open to assistance, guidance from above. I feel a connection to the invisible spirits, angels that assist us. I believe we all have guardian angels. When people receive their portraits, they often are touched so deeply tears flow from their eyes.”

Previous to this Linda has established herself as an award winning plein air painter with Signature status with both the New York and the International Plein Air Painters. She is also an elite member of the Pastel Society of America. Her work is national on a regular basis and both she and her work travel internationally. She has a classical background and has been trained by many modern master artists. Today, Linda’s latest series of work goes beyond the horizons and vistas she is noted for. Q: How long does it take to complete a Soul Portrait?
A: Each piece is different. Some are simple and to the point, others are more descriptive and take more time to draw. Keep in mind there is a waiting list. Currently, the minimum time is 3-4 weeks. A painting may be 2-3 months as it requires more time to complete. Linda waits for the feeling to come across telling her “when it is done. The longer Linda sits with each piece, the more information will come through revealing a story so there is greater understanding.
Q: Will my Soul Portrait reveal anything negative?
A: Never. These portraits are of your higher self and are meant to inspire you to see beyond your flesh and into your true, inner self. They remind you just how beautiful you are. They celebrate the positive self you have felt dwelling within you, but have kept hidden from the world. These works serve to confirm your gifts or help to keep you on track of your soul’s purpose. It is all good.
Q: Can I upgrade my Soul Portrait?
A: Yes, absolutely! Linda will keep the initial portrait as a sample and upgrade you so that your payment goes toward the new portrait. Then you can simply pay the remaining balance.
Q: Do you need to meet with me to create my Soul Portrait?
A: While Linda enjoys meeting each person, it is not necessary. A photograph is all that is needed for her to focus on your energy. Simply email her the photo at Linda@LindaRichichi.com when you order your Soul Portrait. If you would like to have the initial sketch created in her presence, make an appointment. For those who are out of the area, Linda can also meet with you online. She will explain that process if desired.
Q: What are the payment options?
A: Linda is happy to make it comfortable for you so that everyone can afford to enjoy the benefit of seeing his or her highest Self . While Paypal is preferred, check, money order, and cash are also accepted. You can pay in full, pay half down and then the remaining balance upon completion, or call the studio at (845) 527-1146 and an assistant will speak to you and discuss other payment options if you prefer something different than offered on this site.
Q: How do you determine your prices? If it is spiritual, shouldn’t it be free?
A: That’s a good question. Soul Portraits are her life’s calling. She pours so much time, energy, and love into each individual work of art while still having all the financial obligations that everyone else does. If Linda did do these for free then she would have to have another means of income leaving her no time to create these inspiring works of art.

ps. Remember – EVERY ONE comes out completely unique. (You may ask to see the sketch first for the larger commissions although the sketch changes most often before it is finished).
The copyright remains the artist’s on all drawings. When you commission a work of art you will be sign a release allowing the artist to showcase her work (without your name unless you give an ok to do so) on her website, in brochures, book or as cards.
