Goddess Vision

The Goddess energy is one that I have recently begun to channel. She first came to me as I did a portrait of my niece. Each time I went in to add more to the portrait, more of the Goddess would present herself to me!

Before that experience, I knew very little about the Goddesses and the energies they have presented over the ages. With each stroke of the brush, I learned more and knew that this was just the start. She was persistent. Better yet, she was insistent!
The results are here, today.

Trusting the message

What you will see and read came directly through my heart. I was merely a vessel, a note taker, an artist performing the Goddesses’ wishes.
I have learned to trust what my heart tells me and leave my head out of it.

I truly believe the Goddess is screaming to be acknowledged so that she can assist us through a universal transition. It is a transition many feel is inevitable and her powers will be greatly needed.

Let your heart be your guide

As you view each of the Goddess portraits, resist the urge to read her message. Instead, let your heart be your guide through this exhibit. Which Goddess speaks to you? Then go back and read. It will be as though the Goddess is speaking directly to you just as she spoke to me.

Then an island in the sky (Mount Beacon) was captured by the early birds.

As the clouds traveled down river more artists appeared.

There were others who just came to watch and many who helped the event be a success.

Finally we wound it up with a small drum circle that worked together to keep that beat going. It was fun.

Then, intuition takes over, channeling images and ideas that are there to tell me something. Sometimes it feels like a riddle, but ultimately, when I trust the process, what I need to know is revealed. Often, the message was something I had been looking for all along. You have the power to do that as well!  This workshop is called Soul Vision.
When we let it, intuition can play an important role in our lives providing us with insight that comes from our inner voice. It seems even “O” Magazine agrees. The August issue featured “Let Intuition be Your Guide”. I know I’m on the right track if it’s the same one as Oprah! That’s why I am so excited to be introducing these Intuitive Art Workshops. They will focus on areas that have moved me forward in my art and life.  In each, I will help guide you to move into your intuitive self. From that place of deeper knowing, you can speak your truth through art.

The Soul Vision workshop will be held September 18th at my studio from 2 -5 pm. In preparation for it, you can send me a photo of yourself (optional).  The day of the workshop I will share with you some of the channeled images that came to me from that photo. Think of it as a way of jump- starting the process for you! I have found that most people feel an immediate connection to the images I get, and ultimately see beyond what I have shown them. 1. Take a photo, yes.
2. Make a few small sketches noting colors and the desired composition.
3. Ideally doing a small work in the medium of choice is best. If not, I make lots of color notes on my sketch.
4. Sit and memorize what you like about the scene.
5. Get in the studio before you forget.
